Projects

PROJECT ONE – The Phoenix Doors

To conceal books in a vaulted sitting room that has red furnishings and a large wood burner

PROJECT TWO – Kitchen cupboards in a country cottage

A country kitchen (ok, mine) inspired by the Arum lilies that grow in our field (despite the goats, pig & ponies – clearly not tasty?) and a beautiful Clematis given to me by one of my best friends.

I made these 15-20 years ago (can’t remember when but definitely before 2004) and they have certainly withstood the test of time (multiple openings every day without soft close hinges).  Take a closer look at the butterfly (in 3D)….

I’d like to hope that my work has improved a bit since then, but you get the general idea….anything is possible.  Whatever your passion…. it could be something nautical, mechanical, floral, architectural, patriotic, sporting, spiritual, animal, vegetable but probably not mineral…… the choice is yours…. it would be my pleasure to help your dream come true…..

PROJECT THREE – The Birds of Paradise Doors

A wardrobe cupboard was fitted over a staircase void, serving a guest bedroom furnished in pale blues, greens and yellow.  The design of the curtains & cushion inspired the design of the doors.
