So, let’s be straight forward about all this…. these cupboard doors are unique and will hopefully bring joy to you every time you look at them. They take hours and hours to make because there is a design to be agreed upon, then each piece has to be traced and marked, cut, ground to fit together like a tight jigsaw, wrapped accurately in copper foil, soldered, dyed to make the solder black and the colours ‘pop’ out; cleaned, secured in a frame and delivered safely to you. Each door takes me about a week to create.
As a rough estimate a door measuring 720mm High x 495mm Wide to fit a standard height kitchen unit 500mm wide will cost about £500 (no VAT charged) for a complex design fitted within a frame that is vinyl undercoated ready for an oil based top coat and with the hinge holes at a standard fitting. This will take me about one week of work.
Taller units will be a tad more and smaller units maybe a tad less but it not the square footage that depicts the price. It is the number of pieces. Each piece requires the work listed above so it is that which depicts the price more than size.
The price will be mutually agreed at the design point only when you are completely happy with the design and proposed choice of glass colours. A deposit of half of the agreed amount is due before the project is started; the remainder due upon safe delivery and satisfaction.

The choice is yours. If you want to spruce up a tired but functional kitchen, you could add a couple of Kings Copse Creations stained glass doors plus some economical replacement doors, keep the carcasses; possibly change the worktops and make an otherwise tired looking kitchen really ‘zing’. Alternatively add a bespoke cabinet to your bathroom, bedroom or hallway that is both functional and beautiful. The price is not prohibitive but you will commission something that is unique and will outlive you……
