Keith and Heather Robson live in a wonderful oasis of 8 acres called ‘Kings Copse’ in the SE corner of the New Forest National Park along with their 5 horses and ponies, 3 goats, 3 dogs, 3 cats and one pet pig (Priscilla). Headcount accurate at time of website formation……
For more than 3 decades they have been involved in improving houses to make them beautiful homes to live in. Some were their own until they arrived at ‘Kings Copse’ in 1998 – never likely to move again. Keith is responsible for improving many homes of his customers in the local ‘Waterside’ area as he has been a self employed small builder/ kitchen & bathroom fitter since the early 90’s.
Heather was a police officer for 30 years until 2015. Her life today is a mix of keeping their menagerie alive and happy; tending to the garden; riding her ponies through the open New Forest; working on stained glass projects; picking litter as a Waterside Womble; welcoming friends and guests who visit Kings Copse; swigging cheap port and occasionally cooking a meal for her hard working husband Keith…. TBH she doesn’t do that last bit very often……at all……
With regard to stained glass, Heather was always in awe of stained glass windows in churches and the beauty of Tiffany style lamps in lighting shops. She therefore learned how to make them (both techniques) and then made her kitchen cabinet doors at Kings Copse around the turn of the century. Now with the passing of time, she realises how special they are and that more people deserve to enjoy such beauty in their homes. Thankfully her police pension provides her with the privilege of time to create beautiful stained glass cupboard doors for others.
Is it time to dream up something both beautiful and useful for your home too?
